Three simple steps
Call, text or book
Tell us where the car is and when suits. Same-day times are available most days.
We inspect on site
Have the car on a safe, level spot with the keys ready. Most inspections take under an hour.
Certificate on the spot
Pass, and your safety certificate is issued there and then. If not, you get a written list and 14 days to fix it.

A mobile roadworthy is exactly the same Queensland safety inspection we do in the workshop, carried out by an approved examiner from our approved mobile inspection vehicle.
It's ideal if you're selling privately, the car is unregistered, or you simply can't get away from work.

How much is a mobile roadworthy on the Gold Coast?
From $100 including GST, depending on how far we travel. Tell us your suburb and we'll confirm the price before we book.
Can you do a roadworthy today?
Often, yes. Same-day roadworthies are available most days. Call or text us early in the day and we'll tell you the first free time.
What do I need to have ready?
The vehicle, its keys, and a safe, level spot where we can walk around it and, if needed, take it for a short drive. Please remove any load and make sure the vehicle is clean enough to inspect.
Do I need to be there?
Someone needs to meet us with the keys, or you can arrange to leave them somewhere safe. We'll call you with the result.
What if you can't inspect the vehicle when you arrive?
If the vehicle isn't there, or it isn't safe to inspect where it's parked, a call-out fee of $95 applies. Call us beforehand if anything changes and we'll move the booking.
What happens if it doesn't pass?
You get a written list of what needs fixing. Have the work done anywhere, and if it comes back to us within 14 days we only re-check those items.
