No. A roadworthy (safety certificate) only checks minimum safety items on the day. A pre-purchase inspection looks at the overall condition of the vehicle — engine, driveline, electrics, signs of past repairs and likely upcoming costs — so you know what you're really buying.
Yes. We can come to the seller's home or the dealer's yard on the Gold Coast and surrounds (a mobile fee applies), or the vehicle can be brought to our Biggera Waters workshop.
Essential suits a quick check of a lower-priced car. Comprehensive is our most popular choice and covers what most buyers need, including a diagnostic scan and PPSR certificate. Premium adds paint depth readings, live-data diagnostics, a valuation guide and a phone debrief — ideal for higher-value vehicles.
Yes. We inspect hybrids and EVs, and you can add a hybrid system check to Essential or Comprehensive. It's included in Premium where the system is accessible.
A search of the Personal Property Securities Register showing whether money is owed on the vehicle, and whether it's been reported stolen or written off. It's included in Comprehensive and Premium.
You'll receive your report by email after the inspection, usually the same day. For Premium, your inspector will also call you to talk it through.
